Bruce's Family

My eldest of three, Andrew, runs his own business, Showplants, in Oxley, Brisbane, which dresses up your exhibitions for you. He grows most of his own stock. That includes 6 children with collaboration from his wife Caitlin. First and last are girls. Andrew is involved with father-son and manhood programmes.

warnerLinda is married to Wayne and they have one daughter who enjoys school at St Pauls, Bald Hills. They lived for a while in Sydney but moved to Brisbane, first at Albany Creek and now at a new housing development at Warner - as illustrated. Wayne is a keen drummer.

Cameron taught English as a second language in Taiwan, Thailand and China for several years. He married Veparkorn ("Josie") in Thailand and they have two sons. They moved to Australia in December 2003. Although now divorced, they are all in Ballarat. He worked in administration at the University of Ballarat until September 2008 and is now pursuing advanced studies in international community development - which will take him back to China from time to time.

In terms of the ancestral family tree, my father's side (Roy) can be tracked to seventeenth century Ulster/Northern Ireland and includes surnames like Logan, Russell, Clements and Houston. My mother's side (Royes) takes you back to the mid 18th century following the male line. But if you follow the maternal line you will come first to Solomon Hougham (1475-1518), a key figure in the family tree for all Hougham descendants and branches, and then (follow the link above Solomon on the chart) back further until the tenth century Normans or possibly 6th century Scandinavians.
